What is Science Teacher
Day? Science Teacher Day is a day of workshops
for middle and high school teachers where they can learn about
plasma physics
research and pedagogy. The teachers
will meet and talk with research physicists from research centers, laboratories,
academia, and industry. The workshop presentations, handouts, and resource
materials are designed especially for middle and high school
teachers. Be sure to sign up early for workshops (or the Plasma Science Expo) to insure your spot. While we strive to accommodate all requests, teachers registering later run the risk of not getting their requested workshops or Expo slots as particular ones fill up quickly!
Science Teacher Day begins at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2019.
